Description
This 2 day course will give analysts an opportunity to learn how to use MassHunter Qualitative Analysis, Quantitative Analysis, and Reporting as it applies to unit mass resolution mass spectrometers (GC and LC single quadrupoles and GC and LC triple quadrupoles). This course is designed for those students who already have significant background in mass spectrometry, but need to learn about the MassHunter software.

• Laboratory – Basic Qualitative Analysis Features – GC/QQQ
• Laboratory – Basic Qualitative Analysis Features – LC/SQ
• Laboratory – Basic Qualitative Analysis Features – LC/QQQ
Advanced Qualitative Analysis - Library Searching, Find Compounds, Deconvolution.
• Laboratory – LC – Add find compounds and library searching to your data analysis methods.
• Laboratory – GC – Add deconvolution and library searching to your data analysis methods.
Qualitative Analysis Automation
• Laboratory – Qualitative Analysis Automation.
Basic Quantitative Analysis
• Laboratory – SQ – Develop a SIM quantification method and analyze the batch.
• Laboratory – QQQ – Develop a MRM quantification method and analyze the batch.
Advanced Quantitative Analysis
• Laboratory – Manipulate the batch analysis.
Reporting
• Laboratory – Generate Qualitative and Quantitative Reports and customize a report template.

Prerequisite:

One year mass spectrometry experience. Students are expected to know the fundamentals of their particular instrument configuration (GC or LC, Single Quadrupole or Triple Quadrupole).
